When I say I “fell off the wagon” that is the blogging wagon – not the diet wagon!
Actually, that’s not entirely true because I have ditched dieting and replaced it with healthy eatingĀ and the 80/20 rule. Eighty percent of what I eat will be healthy 5 out of 7 days a week allowing me 2 days and 20% to be naughty.
I remembered watching “I can make you thin” by Paul McKenna and one of the parts of it I always remember is “eat what you like” “chew everything really well”
It was the chew everything part that I have been sticking to – chewing it to mush before swallowing. I remember Paul saying that we don’t chew enough and our poor stomach has to do too much extra work to break down the food.
I am still following the Diet Solution but am not as strict – I do have the odd slice of bread and I don’t mind eating bran cereal in the morning but it is mainly porridge.
Exercise has been by biggest problemĀ – or the lack of it and I am 7lb behind on my weight loss goal.
But I am back and ready to get going! How? I watched this video and related it back to me saying I want to lose weight but not doing everything I can to be on the same level as someone who is fit! It is not even about being thin anymore for me – more about being fit and toned.
