This is my weekly weigh and this week I lost 4 lbs (yipee!) – which means I have now lost over a stone (14lbs) in 7 weeks.
It is my first week of using The Diet Solution weight loss program and I know I would have lost more if I didn’t have a couple of naughty days on Friday night when around 11.30pm I ate pasta, and garlic bread plus 2 slices of toast in the morning. (I stayed with a friend) but other than that my week went great. I didn’t plan the whole week out so a couple of days I was at a loss about what to eat and just ended up having a sweet potatoe, or some steak on its own! So have planned this week out today.
Having to write everything down is essential but a pain in the arse!
Total so far
Weight when I started : 19 stone 10 lbs (276 lbs)
Ideal weight : 12 stone 3 lbs (171 pounds)
Total to lose : 7 stone 10 lbs (105 lbs)
Total lost this week : 4 lbs
Weight as of today : 18 stones 6 lbs (258 lbs)
Total left to lose : 6 stone 3 lbs (84 pounds)
Still not exercising regularly yet – when I started out I was at least walking and walking and weight loss go well together so I might start again but I did want to lose my first 24 lbs with food only and then kick it up a notch by introducing regular fat burning exercises.
Instead I will give myself until the new year and make a regular exercise regime part of my goal because I don’t want another 4 weeks standing still like I was on the Tesco GI Diet. Having said that I logged back in and changed from the GI Diet to the high fibre diet so I can make use of my membership (as I have paid for it!) and to get some food ideas. Plus the community is great and I love the interactive tools that monitor my weight loss, inches loss and BMI.They don’t have a high protein low carb diet to choose from which is a real shame.
My focus now is on ensuring I keep my goal of losing half a stone by losing an additional 3 lbs before the end of December – which should be possible – despite Christmas (hopefully
)
And also to continue on reaching my major milestone of 24 lbs - that was originally set for end February but could be reached by end January if I keep on following The Diet Solution.
