It is my personal opinion that Anne Iarchy is the best personal trainer North London has to offer. In only two weeks my health is amazing. The regular exercise is really having an effect on how I feel mentally and physically but the best part is I don’t need much (in terms of equipment) to get fit.
I will definitely never step into a gym for sure! Anne has shown me how with a few basic pieces of equipment like a band and some weights I can use my body weight and those pieces to lose weight and tone up. Yesterday we went out into the park and did a 20 minute walk with some leg exercises that you can do using a tree or bench.
I woke up this morning with that feeling that I wanted to exercise although I know I need to let my body rest until Monday when I start again. Its so great to feel that way because if you followed this blog you will know how difficult getting back into an exercise routine has been. When you have a personal trainer there is no hiding and no slacking off.
Plus I am attending her Wednesday classes in Mill Hill which I actually find more challenging than working with Anne 1:1
I have made the commitment to workout for 12 weeks now because Anne mentioned after 12 weeks of regular exercise you have basically formed a new habit and are more likely to keep it going. For me it is not about weight loss so much as it is about getting fit.

My resting heart rate is what we are using to determine how fit I am becoming and it jumped quite a bit in only one week. To be excellent for my age (43) my resting heart rate needs to be between 60-64 to be in excellent health and 65-69 to be good. It can take 12 weeks of regular exercise to get into the excellent range so I am aiming to be in the good over 4 weeks. When I started it was 88 which is beyond poor.
